The interior of the church at the abandoned town of Aldealcardo in Soria. The town of Aldealcardo has been abandoned since 1972 when the last inhabitants of the town, Jose Mazo and his wife Josefa, moved to Soria city. Since the 1950's the town, gradually, started losing its inhabitants, attracted by the booming industrial work in bigger cities like Logroño, Bilbao, Zaragoza or Barcelona.
